Facelift-(Rhytidectomy)
If you are considering a facelift, it may be a way to capture a more rested and refreshed you. The procedure can be done in the privacy and comfort of our operating suite. Your safety is our primary concern and our O.R. is accreditited by the AAAASF. You can expect to appear in public in 5-7 days after your facelift surgery. You can resume strenuous activities in 3 weeks. Sutures are removed at 5 days, and our experienced staff can help camouflage any bruises with mineral make-up by Jane Iredale.
The results will last longer if you care for your skin properly. The use of sunscreens, moisturizers, and avoiding smoking are all ways to acheive this. Dr. Siegel strives for a natural, youthfull appearance after surgery. Frequently, facelifts are a part of a facial rejuvenation plan that may include liposuction of the jowls and neck, eyebrow and forehead lifting, or eyelid tuck. Each individual has different needs and goals, and the surgery is adapted to those needs.
Having a facelift procedure is a personal decision that only you can make. With your personal consultation with Dr. Siegel, he can explore your options of facial procedures that will help you reach your goasl. No two faces are alike, preferences and goals vary. Your expectations need to be discussed at length to assure your satisfaction with facial procedures. Photographs are taken before and after to help evaluate your needs and point out areas of concern for both you and Dr. Siegel to review. Having a refreshed face can boost your confidence and self esteem.
