Thermage™- Tighter Skin Without Surgery

This non-invasive procedure smooths, tightens and contours skin for an overall younger looking appearance - without surgery, injections or downtime.

Also called ThermaLift, ThermaCool, and Radiothermoplasty, the Thermage™ procedure reduces the signs of aging skin, giving you a more youthful appearance. As you age, the collagen in your skin breaks down, resulting in wrinkles, crepiness, and sagging skin. Thermage™ unique capacitive radio frequency technology (CRF) safely heats the deeper layers of your skin, stimulating existing collagen and promoting new collagen growth.

The procedure can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on the size of the area you are having treated. Additional time may be required for skin preparation prior to the procedure. While a single treatment can produce good results in a significant number of patients. Dr. Siegel will assess your treatment plan during your consultation to achieve optimal results for your skin.

Effects of the Thermage™ procedure may last 18 months or longer, but the aging process continues. Repeat treatments are not recommended earlier than 6-12 months from the initial treatment. Following this procedure, most people return to their regular activities immediately. Some may experience mild redness (like a sunburn), but it usually disappears quickly. No special care is needed after treatment, but sunscreen is recommended.

This procedure is done in the privacy of our office with oral sedation to help you relax during your treatment. Dr. Siegel counts on your feedback to adjust the settings during your procedure. Skin tightening can be seen immediately after your treatment and will continue to tighten for up to 6 months after. The use of anti-inflammatory medicines need to be stopped just prior to and several months after your treatment for optimal collegen deposition.
