Nose Surgery - Rhinoplasty
Shaping and refining the nasal profile has become a very popular procedure.
Surgery is performed with general anesthesia and takes about an hour. Patients
are able to recover at home and many return to work within 5 to 7 days. An
external splint is usually removed at this time. Exercise and lifting should
be avoided for three weeks. Gross deformities and tiny refinements are both
usual in rhinoplasty and correction is helpful in improving a patient's self
image.
