Fred H. Siegel, M.D.

A board certified surgeon, member of The American Society
of Plastic Surgeons and The American Society of Bariatric Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Fred Seigel is knowledgeable of the latest developments in his field. Currently Medical Staff President of the Surgery Center of Chesapeake since it opened three years ago, he was also Chief of Surgery at Chesapeake General Hospital in 1989-91, and Medical Staff President in 1992-93. Dr. Siegel also served as president and is a current member of Chesapeake Medical Society. These leadership roles keep him in touch with all the leading specialists.

As past chairman of the department
of surgery, Dr. Siegel has learned
to work with all specialists who treat
our patients. For many years,
Dr. Siegel was Chesapeake General
Hospital’s AMA (American Medical
Association) representative and has
had the opportunity to meet with
physicians nationwide to discuss
and adopt new legislation for that
important national group.
