Meet Dr. Siegel
As a board certified plastic surgeon since 1985 and a member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), Dr. Fred Siegel is knowledgeable about the latest technology and developments in his field. He has served as Medical Staff President of the Surgery Center of Chesapeake from 2001-2004. He was Chief of Surgery at Chesapeake Regional Hospital in 1989-1991, and Medical Staff President in 1992-1993. Dr. Siegel has also served as President of the Chesapeake Medical Society in 1991-1992 and is a current member. These leadership roles keep him in touch with area physicians.
As a Past-Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Chesapeake Regional Hospital, Dr. Siegel has worked with all the specialists. He was the hospital's medical staff American Medical Association (AMA) representative for many years which gave him the opportunity to meet physicians nationwide to discuss and adopt new legislation for that national group.
