Liposuction - Neck

Liposuction is a procedure that can help sculpt the body by removing unwanted fat from a specific area. For the facial area this includes the neck and or jowls. After the unwanted fat is removed we count on the skin to shrink and recontour the neck.and Sweling is reduced by wearing a compressive garment immediately post-op. Dr. Siegel is able to perform this procedue in his private operating suite with either general anesthesia or IV sedation. The small surgical incision is placed strategically behind the ear and well hidden from view, requiring only one stitch.

After surgery soreness can be expected for 2-6 days. Most patients can have this procedure on Friday and return to work on Monday, as long as activity is non-strenuous. A compressive garment is worn to reduce swelling and encourage skin contraction for a week after surgery. You can expect a noticable difference a few weeks after surgery, but the final results may take up to 6 months for all the swelling to resolve in this area and your slimmer profile to be fully appreciated.
